Nanga Parbat \u00eenseamn\u0103 \u201eMuntele Gola\u0219\u201d, \u00een hindi parbat deriv\u0103 din parvata \u201emunte\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Muntele a fost descoperit de fra\u021bii germani Schlagintweit. Este considerat \u00eentre alpini\u0219ti ca unul dintre piscurile de peste 8.000 de metri altitudine ca unul cele mai grele de escaladat. \u00cen contrast cu Muntele Everest, chiar &#8220;ruta conven\u021bional\u0103 Kinshofer&#8221; este foarte dificil\u0103 din cauza pantelor mari \u0219i pericolului avalan\u0219elor, care au dus la 61 de accidente mortale. Posibilitatea de a muri la escaladarea acestui munte este considerat\u0103 de trei ori mai mare dec\u0103t cea a urc\u0103rii Everestului.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><b>V\u00e2rful<\/b><b> Nanga Parbat are o <\/b><b>\u00een\u0103l\u021bime<\/b><b> de 8.125 de <\/b><b>metri<\/b> \u0219i trei versan\u021bi principali: Ra Kot, Diamir \u0219i Rupal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">La cap\u0103tul vestic al mun\u021bilor Himalaya se afl\u0103 cel mai proeminent masiv muntos de pe glob. Datorit\u0103 faptului c\u0103 pe o raz\u0103 de 25 km se afl\u0103 Valea Indului \u0219i nu se afl\u0103 asemenea \u00een\u0103l\u021bimi deosebite, fiind o diferen\u021b\u0103 de nivel de 7000 m fa\u021b\u0103 de regiunea \u00eenconjur\u0103toare. In sudul masivului se afl\u0103 peretele vertical \u201eFlancul-Rupal\u201d care cu \u00een\u0103l\u021bimea sa de 4500 de m este cel mai \u00eenalt perete (din granit \u0219i gneis) din lume.
