\u00cen 2004, un t\u00e2n\u0103r de 27 de ani din Timi\u0219oara pleca spre Pakistan. \u021ainta: K2 (8.611m), al doilea cel mai \u00eenalt munte din lume – dup\u0103 Everest -, supranumit \u0219i Muntele Uciga\u0219. Unul din trei alpini\u0219ti care \u00eencearc\u0103 s\u0103-l urce, moare.<\/p>\n

Atunci, \u00een 2004, v\u00e2rful K2 nu mai fusese atins de trei ani. Horia Colib\u0103\u0219anu, \u00eempreun\u0103 cu spaniolul I\u0148aki Ochoa, au ajuns pe v\u00e2rf, f\u0103r\u0103 oxigen \u00eembuteliat \u0219i f\u0103r\u0103 ajutorul \u0218erpa\u0219ilor (stil pur).<\/p>\n

Succesul lui Horia Colib\u0103\u0219anu pe K2 este considerat cea mai important\u0103 performan\u021b\u0103 individual\u0103 din alpinismul rom\u00e2nesc.<\/p>\n
